• Richard B. Lankford grew up on the campus of Hargrave Military Academy in Chatham, Virginia, where his father served as Academic Dean and later President. Mr. Lankford has maintained his relationship with the Academy and has served on it Board of Trustees.


• Mr. Lankford is an active member of First Baptist Church, Alexandria, Virginia.


• While a student at George Mason University School of Law, Mr. Lankford was a member of its Law Review.


• For two years after graduation from law school, Mr. Lankford clerked for the Alexandria, Virginia, Circuit Court judges, an experience which first exposed him to a broad variety of civil and criminal trial work.
